Mep is an American artist whose work sits between memory and observation, realism and dream. With a background in Art History from SCAD and Classical Realism from the Florence Academy of Art, her practice combines studied technique with emotional resonance.
Her portfolio includes atmospheric figurative paintings, sketchbook excerpts, and small circular portraits that act like quiet tokens; intimate, luminous studies of people and presences. Recurring throughout her work are sun babies, glowing little weirdos that serve as part icon, part diary, and part personal mythology. They’ve appeared on walls, in drawings, and even on skin, passed along like secret keepsakes.
MEP’s process is rooted in a daily sketchbook practice and a desire to let things float—unfixed, half-remembered, and fully felt.
